I had been researching lawyers for many months and decided to contact Mr. Dan Koukol. I had read many good positive testimonies and can now confirm that Mr. Koukol has an outstanding track record for winning his cases and being a top lawyer. Mr. Koukol has been the best lawyer one could ask for in every way. He is straight forward, professional and will get the job done. He answered my every question, returned my calls and updated me on any change. He won’t give you the run around on things, and he knows what he is doing. I have not had one bad experience with Mr. Koukol as my lawyer. Having had bad experiences with lawyers in the past, I needed someone who I felt had a heart and determination to fight for those who come to ask for help. I needed a good lawyer. I needed a lawyer that I could trust, feel comfortable talking to, and one that I can have the confidence that he will get things done. I found all of these qualities and more in Mr. Koukol.

I cannot Mr. Koukol enough for helping me expunge my record and terminate my probation early! I can now move on with my life. I can finally feel more confident when I turn in those job applications. I can now put that tarnished shame aside and sleep easier. I can be truly at peace for once in a long time. Mr. Koukol has helped change my life and I would thank him a million times over if I could. In my case I did something really stupid.  In fact it was so stupid I don’t really want to talk about it.  In any event, what I did should have triggered an automatic minimum jail term of 90 days.

When I hired Dan he told me that he didn’t know if he could avoid the 90 day term, but he was going to try.

I know he made several court appearances on my case and he negotiated with three different prosecutors before my case was settled.

In the end I was reinstated on my probation and was only required to do 10 days of community service with no jail time whatsoever!

This outcome was much better that I thought possible. I told Dan that in my mind he was worth ten times what I paid him.  I see why my friend recommended Mr. Koukol to me:  he is really, really good at what he does.

I went online and started searching for an attorney who could really help me.  After making several calls and studying all the attorneys practicing in Placer County, I selected Mr. Koukol.  We met right away.  He interviewed me in detail and he and I agreed on the approach he would take on my case.  Within a month, Mr. Koukol had significantly improved my situation.

In the end, I’m serving sixty days of home detention—no actual jail time.

To say that I’m happy with the outcome Mr. Koukol was able to achieve is an understatement.  If you need an attorney that will really work hard, and get the best outcome possible, you should hire Dan Koukol.

I hired Dan Koukol and he was able to get my case dismissed and he also convinced the city to renew my business license.

If you need an attorney, you should hire Dan Koukol. He will do a great job helping you.

Needless to say,  I was surprised and a bit uncertain what I should do. I started asking some of my friends if they knew a good attorney and found out that one of my friends is related to a judge. My friend asked his relative (the judge) to recommend an attorney for me and he suggested that I hire Dan Koukol, which I did.

Dan made several court appearances for me and ultimately convinced the prosecutor to dismiss the case against me. 

I am so very glad I got the recommendation to hire Dan Koukol.  I think he handled my case very well.

I explained to him that all I wanted was to avoid having to pay such a high restitution fee. Mr. Koukol listened to my story and outlined a plan that I agreed to. Mr. Koukol went to court for me several times and finally worked out an agreement with the court. We were able to work out my case just the way I was hoping to. Dan Koukol did a good job, and took care of my case.

First of all, you should know that I am a veteran and am presently attending college. One afternoon I did something stupid and my friend and I ended up being arrested and charged with a crime. Since I absolutely did not want to have anything on my criminal record, I did substantial research on the internet and found a criminal defense attorney in Placer County named Dan Koukol. After meeting him, I decided to hire him to defend me.

I was impressed with how easy it was to contact Mr. Koukol and he met with me almost immediately. At our meeting, he and I formed a plan which was designed to give him the ammunition he needed to get the judge to dismiss the case against me. 

Over the next two months I attended some voluntary counseling and kept precise records of everything I was doing in this regard. When I was finished, I turned the records over to Dan and he was able to get my case dismissed. The plan we came up together was obviously the right approach, especially because my co-defendant, (who did exactly the same thing as I did), ended up with a conviction on his record. He did not have Dan Koukol as his attorney.

I can not overstate how important it was to me to get this case dismissed. Having a conviction on my record would have jeopardized my future. Getting my case dismissed was exactly what I wanted from a defense attorney and Dan Koukol was able to pull it off. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an attorney.

After spending weeks trying to find an attorney, I found Criminal Defense Attorney Dan Koukol’s website and gave him a call. I was hoping he could do for me what I read he had done for numerous others on his site.

The day after I hired Mr. Koukol he was able to talk to the prosecutor. The prosecutor agreed to only file a fairly minor charge against me; this was a major relief for me. I was scared to death that I would have to go to jail or even loose my children.

Over the next few weeks Mr. Koukol worked with my family law attorney to make sure that the criminal case was handled properly so it would not hurt my child custody case. They worked wonderfully together and put together a plan that would work for both cases.

Approximately two weeks later Mr. Koukol was able to get an outcome which was better than what he had predicted.  My criminal case was dismissed in exchange for a very small civil assessment (fine).

I was very, very lonely and scared. I plan to never ever have to go through anything like this again. But, I can tell you that Dan Koukol exceeded my expectations. He was always available to me for any questions that I had. He always had an answer or found out the answer I needed. He was very helpful, very calm and reassuring and was everything I needed at the worst time in my life.  I highly recommend him!!!

I think I made the right choice because Dan was able to talk to my supervisor and negotiate a settlement with the prosecutor and the judge. I know my case was not easy because he ended up having to negotiate with three different prosecutors before he was able to get the settlement offer that we needed. In the end, we got the charges that were most damaging dismissed so that I could continue my military career.

I will always recommend Dan Koukol to anyone who needs a criminal defense lawyer.
