marijuana case dismissed

I would like to describe my experience with the Federal Criminal System. 

Over a year ago my husband and I were arrested for growing marijuana. The Federal Prosecutor elected to prosecute the case because it involved over 500 plants. 

I can tell you the whole experience was absolutely terrifying. I had never been in jail before and I found the jail to be very scary and very unpleasant. The guards were particularly mean to me because I had a disability. 

When I got Dan Koukol as my attorney he told me the first thing he was going to focus on was to get me out of jail. Mr. Koukol was able to convince the Prosecutor and the Judge that I should be released.  Mr. Koukol made the necessary arrangements almost immediately. 

Over the next several months, Mr. Koukol and my husband’s attorney worked together. In the end, my case was dismissed. 

I am so happy and satisfied with the outcome in my case. Things could have gone much worse. The Federal Sentencing law set a mandatory minimum term of 5 years for my offense.
